Sterling Silver Aztec Turquoise Pendant

Inspired by Aztec motif this pendant features a hammered wave styled plate finished with a natural turquoise gemstone. Turquoise stone has been used in jewelry in many ancient cultures signifying wealth and as a protection amulet. It is said that turquoise contains anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effects. Turquoise stone color is usually greenish-blue or pale sky blue. The name means "Turkish stone" as it came to Europe by way of Turkey.
